Maurizio Talarico, passionate about ties since childhood, in 1999, finding no one producing them according to the standards of the past, founded a small business in Rome and astonished the market with the idea of coloring ties with a balance and blend of colors: from light to dark backgrounds, overturning a market used to cold and dark colors.
His "obsession" with creating unique items drives him to continuously create always new and current designs, especially specializing in predominantly micro patterns.
Absolutely opposed to the law of large numbers, his philosophy leads him to produce only three ties for each variant, and to convey the craftsmanship of the product, he creates and patents an "X" shaped stitch that can only be done by hand, a hallmark of a Talarico tie.
He envisions the company as a passion, a laboratory of ideas for tie enthusiasts.
This aspect is crucial to understanding his personality and the success of his business, which Maurizio Talarico does not see merely as a producer of wealth, but as a field of action to develop and enhance the dream of a capitalism that values humanity.
The knowledge of great men from the past fuels his dreams and ideals, but his gaze is constantly directed towards the distant future, and every action, every work of his is designed to last for centuries and be passed down from father to son.
Today, alongside Maurizio, his son Tiziano has joined him, having grown up by his father's side. He has instilled in him the belief: not to live in a world where everything is reduced to mere profit. Money holds true value only when spent to improve the existence and growth of humanity.
